Hi, I’m Pete Dunn. My career as a guitar maker and repairman began in 1997, after attending the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, Arizona. I got my start in Kansas City doing guitar repair and later accepted a job with Paul Reed Smith Guitars in Stevensville, Maryland where I specialized in electric guitar manufacture and later enjoyed the privilege of working with a small group of “Private Stock” luthiers responsible for launching their line of acoustic guitars. In 2011, I left PRS Guitars to launch Bowerbird Guitars where I designed and hand-crafted one of a kind instruments in addition to providing guitar repair service in Annapolis, Maryland. In 2018, I relocated to Sarasota, Florida where I currently offer guitar repair by appointment.
